Shearing Day
Alpacas will be sheared on Saturday May 25th, 2024 around/after 2:00pm. This is the one day out of the year, when all our alpacas get a haircut and we invite everyone to come out and volunteer or just see how the process works.
We are at the mercy of the professional Shearer, so our tentative time of his arrival is in the afternoon. He will be shearing other farms that morning. It takes about 2 hours to shear all our animals. We welcome volunteers as early as 1:00pm.
Rain or shine, the alpacas will be sheared. If you have any questions, or would like to RSVP, please call/text, message me or email me by Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024.
We do provide a meal and registering ensures we have enough food for everyone. If you have allergies or special food requirements, please bring your own. Or if you would like to bring a dish to share; sides, desserts, and fruit are welcomed additions to this year's Korean inspired fare. We hope to see you here!
